Conde Nast reaches a bargaining agreement with 3 subsidiary company unions
Conde Nast publications, The New Yorker's parent company, has agreed to a bargaining agreement following the threat of a strike along with demonstrators from various publications under Conde Nast protesting on the lawn of publishing executive, Anna Wintour. The agreement includes defined working hours, a just clause provision for discipline and termination, an increased cap for health care costs, and a blanket base salary of $55,000 which will rise to $60,000 by April 2023.
