Fenway Park concession workers on strike for first time in 113 years
Concession workers at Boston’s Fenway Park have gone on strike just as a major Red Sox–Dodgers series kicks off. Represented by Local 26, the workers are demanding higher wages and protections against automation, citing concerns over self-serve kiosks replacing jobs. The union is urging fans to boycott ballpark concessions during the homestand. Aramark, which operates food services at Fenway, says it has contingency plans and is open to continued negotiations.
