Court Blocks Spanish Soccer Players? Plans to Strike Over TV Money
Spanish soccer players had planned a strike for this weekend to demand rights to the money generated from television contracts. A court has blocked the strike for this weekend, and an investigation will be opened up to look into the matter. The strike would have resulted in $57 million in lost revenue for every game that was cancelled.
