Court calls end to strike at Frankfurt airport
A German court has ruled that walkouts by ground crew at the Frankfurt airport are illegal and must stop. The walkouts have been occurring over the past three weeks as part of a dispute over pay and working conditions. The judge said that the walkouts were illegal. The German airline Lufthansa, which has been effected by the strike said that it may file a claim for damages against the union. The union that represents the workers said that it would appeal the ruling. The latest round of negotiations between the two sides ended on Friday.
