Court Rejects Lufthansa’s Bid to Stop Strike by Pilots
Yesterday, a court in Frankfurt, Germany denied the request for a temporary injunction against Lufthansa pilots who were scheduled to strike today. The strike, which was the pilots 13th in the last two years, caused 1000 flights to be cancelled. The airline has refused to include new employees under the pre-existing collective bargaining agreement. A spokesman for the pilots' union said that there will be more strikes in the coming weeks.
