Psychologists have long been intrigued by the way that some workers are able to thrive in very stressful work environments. Workplaces stress is usually viewed in a negative light, linked to health and psychological problems, but some workers manage to be highly resilient in the face of stress. Experts say that workers who are committed to their careers and feel that they have some control over their work are more likely to deal well with stress.
