Culinary Union launches second website that takes aim at the Cosmopolitan
The Culinary Union has furthered its attacks against the Cosmopolitan, a resort in Las Vegas owned by Deutsche Bank who has about 50,000 employees represented by the union working without a contract, by creating a hotel review website (culinaryconfidential.org). The website will ?[collect] exceptional stories and incredible memories about the Cosmopolitan? as well as post blunt reviews and critiques almost every facet of the resort. The website is similar to another opened by the union criticizing the MGM and Caesars resorts which functioned until earlier this year when both companies signed contract extensions. Protests for 40-hour work weeks, health insurance improvements, and job security have accompanied the online attacks.
