CVS announces company changes to compete for workers
To strengthen their workforce, CVS Health has announced pay raises and changes to their education requirements. CVS will boost hourly wages starting this month to reach a $15 minimum wage as of July 2022. They have recently dropped their high school diploma or GED requirement for most entry-level jobs. They will also eliminate the GPA requirement for university recruits. CVS is trying to expand their pool of applicants and attract top talent to “meet people’s health needs.”
