DaimlerChrysler Interested in UAW Talks
As expected, a day after GM and the UAW agreed to concessions by the union, DaimlerChrysler has asked to open talks over cost saving measures. DaimlerChrysler's CEO has expressed an interest in cutting health care costs after hearing word of the GM-UAW deal, but no formal decision has been made if the company will begin talks with the UAW.
