Daley pushes for hiring of disabled

The purpose of this program is to encourage the hiring of more firms owned by people with disabilities as subcontractors in city contracts. David Hanson, commissioner for the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities, said that the city was working toward identifying disabled-owned companies and providing them with employment opportunities.
