Darden underpaid workers, suit says
A lawsuit filed on Monday says that Darden Restaurants, which owns Olive Garden, Red Lobster and other restaurants, unpaid thousands of workers. The Miami lawsuit is asking to represent employees who worked at the restaurants from August 2009 to the present. The company says that they follow labor laws for their employees. The Department of Labor has found similar violations in individual restaurants, and similar lawsuits are pending in New York and Illinois.
