Deere & Co reaches a tentative agreement with the UAW representing the striking workers
The UAW and Deere & Co have reached a tentative contract agreement. Workers began striking on October 14th and will continue to strike until this tentative agreement is reviewed and ratified. The contract will cover over 10,000 workers in 12 different locations. In the agreement workers would get a $8,500 ratification bonus, no changes to the cost of their health insurance, and generous wage increases from 3% to 10% each year.
