Deere Has Tentative Labor Agreement With UAW Workers
On Thursday, Deere came to a tentative agreement on a six-year contract for its 10,000 employees. This new proposal came just in time as the employees existing contract expired on Wednesday. Further delays in a tentative agreement could have resulted in strikes at the company's twelve factories. The contract was negotiated between John Deere and the employees representative, the United AutoWorkers.
