Delta Pilots Tell Negotiators to Get Pact
Delta and the union for the airline?s pilots are trying to reach an agreement over the possible retirement of a large number of pilots. Delta has been suffering financially and may file for bankruptcy protection, making early retirement with a lump-sum payment an attractive option for many pilots. A shortage of pilots could force Delta to ground some of its fleet.
