Delta Reaches Deal With Pilots' Union
Delta Airlines has reached a tentative deal with its pilots? union, saving itself from bankruptcy. The airline has been seeking wage and benefit concessions of $1 billion for more than a year. A combination of high labor costs, low-fare competition and skyrocketing prices for jet fuel, has deepened the airline's financial crisis.
