Detroit city unions blast Bing revenue plan
Detroit unions are criticizing the Mayor's plan to pursue $50 million in uncollected revenue. The unions say that they presented the idea as part of concession agreements in February. The agreements were never implemented. The unions say that in order for the changes to work, the city's workers need to be at the table. The Mayor says that the plan can be implemented without hiring any new workers. The unions said that they were willing to work with the city, but the city was not able to meet until January.
