In the latest salvo in the battle over who will represent Bay Area nurses, the Service Employees International Union filed a motion in Alameda County Superior Court on Monday against the California Nurses Association. The SEIU claimed that CNA's own lawsuit, which resulted in last week's emergency order preventing SEIU members from coming within 100 yards of CNA organizers, was an illegal attempt to silence SEIU.
