Employers get creative with perks to attract and retain workers
It's a job seekers market, people are walking away from their jobs and employers are having a hard time hiring and keeping employees. Some companies have upped their perks in terms of benefits, pay, and flexibility to try and attract and keep their workers. Software firm WANdisco has switched to a four-day workweek model while also not reducing their employee salaries. Real estate investing platform, Mynd, will give their workers $60,000 to help with the purchase of their own investment property when they hit their five-year mark with the company. So far, the incentives seem to be helping with hiring and retaining workers.
