Employment and Wage Growth in Washington Outpacing Other States
A recent ADP Workforce Vitality Report shows that both employment and wages have grown substantially in Washington state. This report, which focuses on private-sector jobs, showed that employment in the state increased by 3.7%. In the fourth quarter of 2015, wages for full-time employees had increased by 5% since the previous year. Most of the growth in employment can be attributed to information technology, construction, leisure/hospitality, and professional services.
