Employment Costs in the U.S. Increased 0.4% in First Quarter
According to a new report from the Labor Department, employment expenses rose slightly in the first quarter of the year. The 0.4% increase is slightly below economists' forecasts, but still indicates that wages are slowly increasing. Experts say that as unemployment drops, wages will begin to rise as the economy becomes more competitive. Economists say that the economy is slowly improving.
