After a 30% fee hike went into effect on April 11th, Etsy sellers began boycotting the arts-and-crafts site. Over 100,000 sellers joined the boycott, putting their stores on “vacation mode” and signed a petition. The face of the boycott, Kristi Cassidy, said that many labor groups have reached out to her and the organizers of the boycott are considering forming a union.
