Europe Reluctantly Deciding It Has Less Time for Time Off
Europeans have traditionally worked fewer hours than Americans, enjoying shorter workweeks and more extensive vacations. However, this may be changing as more European nations, such as Germany and France, look to lengthen the workweek. This change has been brought about by economic stagnation and increased global competition.
