Data from the EU?s statistics office showed that unemployment in the region fell by 24,000 in June, totaling 19.27 million across the 17 nation alliance. Wednesday?s report marks the first time that jobless numbers in the Eurozone have declined in over two years. Analysts predict that next month?s figures will show that the region grew modestly during the second quarter, signs that the Eurozone is finally emerging from double dip recession inspired by a debt crisis. Jobless numbers among European youths remained concernedly high however, rising from 26.3 percent to 26.4 percent in June.
