Experts say many companies may follow Goldman Sachs’ full return to office plan
Last week Goldman Sachs’ CEO David Solomon announced that the company is asking employees to return to the office five days a week. During a conference last year, he called remote work an “aberration” that he wanted to “correct as quickly as possible.” Business and health experts say that many companies could now be following suit. While tech consulting firm Gartner found that more than 90% of employers are planning to adopt a hybrid work model, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business said, “Nobody wants to make the first move - but now that you see a large well-known company say it's time to come back to the office, I think we'll see more of a Stampede of others doing the same.”
