Facebook?s Bus Drivers Seek Union
Bus drivers who transport Facebook workers to and from the company?s headquarters in Silicon Valley, CA are seeking representation by the teamster union. These bus drivers shuttle workers from 6am to 9pm, however they often have a six-hour break in the middle of the day. Workers do not want to drive the long distance home during this time, as they cannot afford housing in Silicon Valley. They are hoping that union representation will allow them to negotiate for better schedules.
