Fast Food Strikes Hit Record Numbers, Span 190 Cities
Yesterday, thousands of workers across the country went on strike demanding wage increases. Two years ago several fast food workers in New York City were the first to mobilize and strike in a largely union free industry. Yesterday workers were able to coordinate a strike across nearly 200 cities in the U.S. The workers are demanding an industry minimum wage of $15.
