Fast-Food Workers are Planning Massive Protests Across the US
Fight For 15 announced on Twitter that there would be a nationwide walk-off this Thursday of fast food workers intensifying their battle to increase the hourly wage to $15. This protest comes in the midst of a Democratic push to raise the federal minimum wage. More than 100 cities plan to participate in this walk-off using nonviolent sit-ins as tactics. Unlike previous instances, these protestors will receive support from home care workers.
