Fear Silences Human Trafficking Victims: Mexico Prosecutor
Last month, a terrible case of slave labor in Mexico city came to the attention of prosecutors. A woman named Zunduri was held captive and forced to work for a dry cleaning shop for two years. Eight people have been charged with human trafficking as a result of the allegations. Mexican authorities have struggled to get fearful victims of human trafficking to testify against their abusers.
