February job growth surprisingly weak
According to a government report released today, employers added only 21,000 workers to their payrolls last month. These figures show that employers are still very reluctant to hire more workers. Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan is optimistic that job growth will speed up. Job creation has become a critical issue for the Bush administration, as their record is being attacked by Democrats.
