FedEx Pilots Vote to Ratify New Labor Contract
On Tuesday, pilots with FedEx corporation who are represented by the Air Line Pilots Association announced that they had signed a six-year contract that would take effect next month. This new contract includes a signing bonus, better retirement benefits and an increase to salaries. While FedEx signs a new contract, pilots with their competitor United Parcel Service (UPS) are voting on whether to strike. Currently UPS is engaged in negotiations with its employees using the guidance of a federal mediator.
