Ferrellgas Partners is sponsoring a job fair in Kansas City to both fill positions and simultaneously raise money for the Women's Employment Network ? a nonprofit organization that helps women with job-preparation skills and financial independence. The company is hosting 35 additional employers at the event for a reservation fee of $250 per booth. The Marriott hotel in downtown Kansas City donated a venue for the fair, and Ferrellgas officials expect up to 1,5000 job seekers to attend. The company is covering advertising, marketing and staffing costs associated with the event.
