FIFA was recently accused of committing unfair labor practices involving workers in Qatar building the new facilities for the 2022 World Cup. FIFA has announced that individual companies hired the workers thus the organization is not responsible. Qatar?s labor practices have come under scrutiny recently due to its use of migrant workers from South Asia.
