Films said to be getting work guarantees from actors guild
The Screen Actors Guild has reportedly struck separate deals to ensure that 95 independent film productions will be completed, whether the guild goes on strike or not. The guild is seeking to minimize harm to independent filmmakers in the event of a strike. Contract negotiations began last week between the SAG and major film studios and producers in an effort to avoid a situation similar to the lengthy writers strike last year.
