In England, the Fire Brigades Union has conducted 48 walkouts since 2013 in protest of Westminster government, which changed the pension eligible age from 55 to 60. In addition to this change, the firefighters may see a decrease in their pension. The recent announcement of another walkout follows a four-day strike that happened in November.
