According to the employment consulting firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas Inc., many older workers seem to find the early part of the day their most productive time. This information may cause more companies to offer earlier shifts. The biggest job growth has been among workers 55 and older, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
