The success of this union vote arises amidst heightened labor activity within large companies across the country. This marks the first Chipotle location to unionize and may open the door for further unionization attempts at other Chipotle locations as well as at other fast-food restaurants. In response, Chipotle has stated its disfavor in the outcome of the union vote and affirmed its commitment to its workers.
