Fitness on the Job
Faced with rising health care costs many companies are offering employee wellness programs in an attempt to cut costs and increase worker productivity. This seems like a logical move but it is often difficult to make a concrete connection between money spent on health promotion and money saved on insurance costs. Some experts say that employers must go beyond building fitness centers to developing targeted initiatives at changing workers' unhealthy habits.
