Flight Attendants Excluded From Talks
A federal judge has ruled in favor of Northwest Airlines after the Professional Flight Attendants Association union sued the carrier because management said it would not allow flight attendants to sit in on bargaining sessions. The judge denied the union's request to require Northwest to allow flight attendants to observe contract negotiations. Northwest has argued that allowing observers could prolong negotiations.
