Forced Labor Said to Bind 12.3 Million People Around the World
Throughout the world, 12.3 million people work as slaves or in other types of forced labor. Profits from forced labor total $32 billion a year, according to the report. Most forced laborers work in Asia, though cross-border trafficking, including sexual and nonsexual labor, is found all over the world.
