Ford Said to Discuss Adding 10,000 U.S. Jobs, Moving Fusion
Ford is considering adding as many as 10,000 jobs in the U.S. The company is currently in contract negotiations with the United Auto Workers. Some of the jobs may come from shifting production of the Fusion from Mexico to the United States. The UAW represents around 41,000 workers at Ford, and the union is looking to get some of the concessions they gave up during previous negotiations back. The UAW just reached an agreement with General Motors that was ratified by the workers.
