Foxconn Allegedly Hid Its Underage Workers Before Getting Inspected By The Fair Labor Association
As the Fair Labor Association conducts an audit of Apple supplier Foxconn, reports have surfaced that the company transferred underage workers to places that would not be seen by the auditors. Apple's code allows workers ages 16 and up to work under certain conditions. Foxconn has been under fire since a string of suicides last year, and the recent audit has drawn criticism both of the monitor and of the techniques being used.
