Freed Marikana mine workers return home
Some of the South African mine workers who were arrested after violence killed over 30 people have been released. Murder charges against the 270 workers were dropped over the weekend, and while some charges still remain, the miners' say that they will challenge them when court resumes in February. About 91 of the miners have been released, and the court said that some had to remain in custody until Thursday due to problems verifying their addresses.
