French unions warn of mass job cuts in reform talks
French unions are pushing the new government to take action against companies who are planning to shut down, costing thousands of jobs. The unions say that jobs should be the first priority of the administration, and that action on the threatened jobs is necessary. The new government has said that they want to raise the minimum wage and decrease unemployment, as well as increase public sector employment.
