Unions Increase focus on AI's Threat to employment in various industries
The rapidly increasing presence of AI has raised concerns in various industries about the potential for AI to replace human workers. As AI becomes more advanced, various jobs will become obsolete as AI will possess the same skills as a human worker. Industries that are at an increased risk include the airline industry and the entertainment industry. Other jobs that are also threatened by AI include radiologists, paralegals, writers, and many entry level positions. Labor unions are focused on protecting workers and preventing workers from being replaced, arguing that AI can’t replicate the creativity and judgment possessed by human employees.
