Gap: Violations at 90% of factories
In a report scheduled to be released today, Gap reports that of their factories around the world, 90% were found to have work-force violations. Violations included psychological coercion, verbal abuse, and safety issues. The retailer contracts with approximately 3,000 factories in about 50 countries to supply its Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic stores, the story said.
