Gauging grads' prospects
Thousands of students graduating from college this spring are hoping that the nation's slowing unemployment rate will mean a more successful job search. Prospects have been limited for graduates in the past two years as many companies put a freeze on hiring. The current job market is competitive and graduates who hope to land jobs must work very hard. Career advisors suggest that job seekers do internships to gain experience and present themselves to employers in a professional manner.
