General Motors and U.A.W. Reach Tentative Contract Accord
On Sunday night, a tentative agreement was reached between General Motors and the United Automobile Workers union. This new agreement, which would affect 59,000 employees, is rumored to have similar characteristics to the Fiat Chrysler contract that was ratified last week. This agreement came minutes before the workers at General Motors contracts were scheduled to expire. On Wednesday, the two parties will meet to discuss a tentative time to vote.
