German Public Service Employees Strike Third Day
On Wednesday and Thursday in Germany, approximately 100,000 public service employees and teachers went on strike. These strikes are scheduled to continue across the country in the coming days. The workers, who are represented by the union Verdi, are scheduled to begin negotiations next week. The workers are demanding a 5.5% wage increase.
