German Train Drivers? Union Calls 4-Day Strike
After no further issues were resolved in a contract dispute, German train drivers made plans to strike from Thursday to Monday. The drivers are demanding shorter hours and a 5 percent wage increase. The GDL union is also demanding that it be responsible for negotiating on behalf of not only drivers but other staff as well.
