German Train Strike Leaves Millions Stranded
German train drivers with Deutsche Bahn held a 50-hour strike on Saturday that affected two thirds of all long-distance trains. The train operators are demanding a shorter workweek and a 5 percent pay increase for 20,000 drivers. This strike is costing Deutsche Bahn approximately 1 million euros a day.
